Tickets to visit Santa on the train are selling well but there is still time to book places for you, your family and friends.

This is first time Santa has agreed to bring his grotto on to the train so it is an exciting development for all of us.

The good news is that the elves have been working overtime to make sure there is an exciting wrapped present for all the girls and boys so there will be something for everyone.

Those of you who visited us last year may recall that at certain times there were queues to visit Santa and lack of covered accommodation was sorely missed when the weather turned wet and cold which is did on at least one of our operating days.

This year we are taking steps to avoid a repeat of this happening and there will be fun activities to keep our younger visitor occupied before and after their ride on the Santa Special.   Not only that there will be the option of visiting Hayley, our popular face painter.

We look forward to welcoming you all to our historic station at Midsomer Norton South on the old Somerset and Dorset Railway
